I purchased this Coco Coir product as a growing medium to germinate plant seedlings. Individual bricks are convenient because each brick yields the exact medium per Sub-Irrigated-Planter tub. I initially used the product as bedding for my fishing worm farm and later composting worms. Both breed did not try to escape so I assume, they love it. Thus, I also assumed that plants might love them too. Coco Coir holds water well so it can be used as mulch for planter tubs. When mixed with commercial garden soil, it creates a well draining growing medium that allows plant roots to develop better.
